Sneezeweed 'Helena Red Shades' (Helenium autumnale 'Helena Red Shades')

Sneezeweed 'Helena Red Shades' (Helenium autumnale 'Helena Red Shades')

'Helena Red Shades' is a strong and hardy Helenium with vermillion to maroon Daisy-shaped flowers that are streaked and tipped in gold and Aztec yellow held on 4’ stems. Extremely adaptable, it thrives in sun or partial sun and moist (even wet) soils. Also known as Helenium autumnale 'Helena Rote Töne.'

The boldly colored blooms of Helenium are especially valuable late summer into fall, when few perennials are at their peak. Full sun and an organic-rich, well-drained soil are best; satisfy these requirements and the sturdy plants will brighten a border, meadow, or wild garden. Superb cut flowers.
